What is a Chamber of Commerce?
A Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization dedicated to protect and improve the business climate and quality of life within a specific region. Although Chambers often work with large public agencies, they are not departments of any government organization.
At the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce, our mission is to promote and sustain the economic growth of the Calhoun County Region, resulting in a community that is a dynamic place to work, visit, and live. To do this, the Calhoun County Chamber divides its work into several departments: Customer Service, Member Services, Communications, Community & Leadership Development, and Visitors Bureau.
The Calhoun County Chamber is composed of over 150,000 businesses, organizations, and professionals that work toward common goals of supporting the community and fellow businesses.
When was the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce founded?
