Meet The Ambassadors
Welcome to the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors!
The Chamber Ambassador Team is the Chamber's special group of forty-one individuals who act as representatives for the Calhoun County Chamber of Commerce and work to enhance member relations. Ambassador's have the opportunity to participate with the Chamber on a regular basis and be an important part of the Chamber's growth. The role of an Ambassador involves focus on supporting the Chamber, its members and the events. Activities of an Ambassador involve complementary groundbreaking and grand opening ribbon cutting ceremonies for local businesses that are opening, expanding, or moving to a new location. The Ambassadors also provide assistance in other areas of the chamber such as Business After Hours, Business Expo, and New Member Receptions.
Characteristics of an Ambassador:
- Motivation to be successful
- Direct supervisor support
- Communication skills
- Tenure in one's company
- Previous civic involvement
- Moral character
